Caramelized Nutmeg Onion Butter
LAST MINUTE FINE DINING

We all want to offer our guests a culinary surprise.
But not all of us are experienced cooks or have a half-day to prepare something special.

So for unexpected guests, I suggest you serve simply Fine Dining Butter with bread - a culinary mouth explosion with a caramelized salted butter and a hint of pepper, nutty, and slightly cinnamon aroma; which is coming only from the nutmeg.
So let´s prepare this easy, quick & surprising dish.
*Scroll down for the written summary.
Ingredients

250 g soft butter
45 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil {3 Tbsp}
200 ml diced Onions {2-3 medium-sized red onions}
15 ml Honey {1 Tbsp}
5 ml grated Nutmeg {1 tbsp}
3 - 4 cloves of chopped garlic

I got my honey from a market in Poland, and you see the difference to once in a regular store; if you get real honey, this dish will get even better.

1. Fry the Onions
Preheat your pan and add your extra-virgin olive oil, wait until sizzling and add the onions. Fry on high heat for about 5-6 min until they become glassy. Then switch to medium heat and add your honey.
Add 5 ml of grated nutmeg and your chopped garlic and fry for 4-5 min.
Switch off the heat, add 5 ml of corse salt and let it cool down for about 10-15 min.

2. Mix fried onions with butter
Last step...mix your caramelized onions with the soft butter evenly.

That´s it! I promise your special guests will be amazed.
